Learned Humanity from a song – Pet Bechara (The Empty Stomach Song)

Hunger! We all may have many problems but hunger becomes the most important one when it is uncontrollable…

A few days ago, I came across a video on YouTube that was one of the songs of a TV show on Star Plus, an Indian TV channel (show’s name: Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala).

Watching the video, I still don’t know how much is it related but I started thinking of World Hunger

I haven’t yet watched the show so I don’t know what its all about…but this particular video made me think of the people who don’t get enough food…

Here is the video:

We all have been through a situation one or more times when we’re too hungry and all we want to do is have some food…till then we can’t even focus on what we’re doing…

There is a saying in India which says, “भूखे पेट भजन ना होए ।” (Bukhe Pet Bhajan Naa Hoye), meaning we can’t do anything with an empty stomach…(literal translation: One can’t pray with an empty stomach/One can’t pray when hungry). And I’m sure there are similar sayings for hunger in every language…

Can’t we do something so that people don’t have to end their days with an empty stomach?

There are many things we can do…
